Why Choose this Tour?
Looking for the best stretch of Hadrian’s Wall? This 3.5-mile guided walk blends dramatic views, Roman ruins, and local stories — with the rare chance to walk on the Wall itself.
We start at The Sill and take the scenic AD122 bus to the start of the walk at Housesteads, we'll then explore iconic sites and uncovering hidden gems as we make our way back to The Sill. You’ll hold a genuine Roman artifact, spot a secret carving, and enjoy plenty of pauses for views and stories.
With just six guests per tour, it’s tailored to your pace and interests. We provide walking poles, binoculars, and take the photos so you can be fully present — then create a bespoke highlight reel for you to relive and share. Expect banter, insider tips, and chats with fellow walkers, rangers, climbers, and maybe the occasional Roman soldier.
