We are excited about the next chapter for Curius Compass. After a year of hosting events (which we have truly loved), we are shifting our focus toward what brings us the most joy: creating more experiences that turn walks into once-in-a-lifetime journeys.

​

In 2026, we will be introducing self-guided walking options for Hadrian’s Wall, St Cuthbert’s Way and St Oswald’s Way. These experiences will allow you to explore independently, while still benefiting from thoughtful local planning, knowledge, and support along the way.

​

There will be three levels to choose from, from independent resources designed to help you plan your own adventure, through fully arranged itineraries, to a premium experience that can also include having your own personal guide join you on special sections or for the whole walk.

​

All curated by locals who know the trails, have walked the miles, eaten the scones, sampled the beer, stood in the wind, taken the occasional wrong turn, and learned the best places to rest tired legs.

 

We live here, we walk here, and we are excited to share the routes, hidden gems, and brilliant places that make these trails unforgettable.
