Why Choose this Tour?
Looking for a family-friendly way to explore Hadrian's Wall? This adventure combines the fascinating ruins of Housesteads Roman Fort with a relaxed 2-mile guided walk.
We begin at Housesteads Roman Fort, where you'll discover the barracks, granaries and communal toilets once used by the soldiers stationed here, before exploring the civilian settlement beyond the fort walls and learn about the Murder House. Then we'll head onto Hadrian's Wall itself, walking atop the only permitted section of Hadrian's Wall, visiting a Roman milecastle and enjoying some of the most breathtaking scenery in Northumberland.

Along the way take part in Hadrian's Wall Highlights Bingo.

With just 8 guests per tour, the experience is personal, relaxed and tailored to the group. We provide walking poles, take the photos for you, and create a bespoke highlight reel and memoento of your time on the Wall.
Perfect for curious families, history lovers young and old and anyone wanting to experience Hadrian's Wall at a gentler pace.
