Grab a friend, neighbour or loved one  and join us for a relaxed and social evening walk  part of the Heddon-on-the-Wall Culture Festival. Money raised from this walk will go to the causes and charity that support the local community.

This year’s festival theme is Friendship there is no better way to connect than walking side by side, talking, laughing and enjoying the landscape together

Along the way there will be fun activities where you can learn a little about the history of Hadrian’s Wall, the local area and each other. We’ll also raise a toast to the Roman goddess of friendship.

We’ll arrive back in time to enjoy the quiz and music night!

Tickets are £10 per person or bring a friend for £15. You can also purchase your quiz entry for £10 here too. If you are bringing a dog, please add a free ticket for your pooch.

This is a relaxed countryside route covers easy-to-moderate terrain with a mix of village paths, farmland tracks and a long, flat riverside section. The ground is comfortable underfoot for most of the route, with a few uneven patches along the way. Walking poles are available to borrow if you would like to use them. This walk is a well-behaved, dog-friendly event.
